BACKGROUND

Wandsworth Council is a unitary council in the north of London dealing with 307,000 people in 130,000 households. Wandsworth provides a range of public services that includes Social Care, Housing and Education.

THE EBASE CONNECTION

In common with all UK local authorities, Wandsworth has a compelling need to drive down the cost of service delivery, and has identified that using modern software to automate manual processes allows them to improve efficiency while maintaining and improving quality of service.

Our first priority had to be the citizen services with the highest transactions, but we recognised that we needed something that could handle all the back office integration and workflow as well.”

HOW’S THAT WORKING OUT?

Wandsworth began a program of service transformation and engaged with Ebase Professional Services to help them deliver an aggressive program of change.

Key projects to date have included the Moving Out/Moving In process, School Admissions, Street Fault Reporting and a Parking Portal. Wandsworth are already realising significant savings and return on investment.
